Bringing a baby into the world is truly remarkable. Every little sigh, stretch, and yawn is precious. Those first days fly by, which is why capturing them in a beautiful, timeless way is so special. Your newborn portraits will become treasured keepsakes for your family, reminders of these fleeting, magical moments.

Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first 14 days, but I’m happy to work with babies up to 8 weeks old if needed. To secure your preferred date, I recommend booking as early as your 20-week scan. I’ll always do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings where possible.

Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll guide you through my gallery so you can choose colours, props, and poses you love. I’ll also send you my “Preparing for Your Newborn Photoshoot” guide, full of tips to make the day smooth and enjoyable.

Your session will take place in my warm, welcoming studio in Aldridge Village, with easy access from Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, and Birmingham. I provide a relaxed environment so you can sit back and enjoy the experience while I capture your newborn’s first precious moments.

For the best results, I recommend feeding your baby just before leaving for the studio or on arrival, this helps them settle into a deep sleep for those snuggly poses. I have extensive experience in newborn safety, posing, and comforting, so there’s no need to worry about anything... even the occasional pee or poop!

I allow up to 3 hours for the session, so there’s plenty of time for cuddles, settling, and capturing your baby at their best. After the shoot, you’ll return for a private ordering appointment 12–14 days later to view your artworked images and select the packages or products you love.

Absolutely! I offer two types of vouchers:

• Newborn Only
• Parents, Siblings & Newborn

For sessions including family, we start with parents and siblings first. Once they’re done, older children can take a short walk while I continue photographing your newborn.

I recommend neutral colours for outfits — whites, creams, greys, or pastels — and avoiding large logos or patterns to keep the focus on your baby.

Dress your baby in something easy to undress (simple poppers or zips, minimal layers). Bring nappies, wipes, bottles, dummies, and any special blankets or sentimental items — knitted hats, teddy bears, or soft toys are welcome!

Everything else — wraps, hats, baskets, mini sofas, rugs, flowers, and props — is provided by me. Have a look through my gallery beforehand and let me know your favourites so I can prepare them for your session.

Newborn photoshoot vouchers are £55 for just baby or £65 to include parents/siblings.

Every voucher includes 2-3 hour studio time, a private ordering appointment 12-14 days later and 1x free digital image. At your ordering appointment you can then select from products and packages.
